The Operating Room Services Basic Skills Laboratory, established within the scope of the associate degree program at Burdur Vocational School of Health Services, has been set up to ensure that our students gain competence in surgical field applications. The laboratory is equipped with modern surgical equipment and simulation materials, allowing for hands-on learning of basic skills such as sterilization, surgical preparations, and the use of surgical equipment.
This laboratory focuses on critical issues such as providing support for surgical interventions, teamwork in the operating room environment, patient safety, and sterile techniques. Students have the opportunity to develop their professional skills with the practical experience they gain in this area, which simulates a real operating room environment.
The Operating Room Services Basic Skills Laboratory is designed to train qualified operating room technicians in the healthcare sector and aims to provide a solid foundation for our students' professional careers.
In this context, we aim to offer our students who wish to specialize in the field of operating room services a strong education both theoretically and practically, enabling them to graduate as healthcare professionals who will make a difference in the sector.
